Kathmandu, March 17: The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has decided to add 1,705 reconstruction beneficiaries after addressing 13,385 complaints. The 130th meeting of the NRA Executive Committee held today has also added 485 retrofitting beneficiaries.
With this, 182,301 complaints have now been addressed, out of 189,000 complaints collected from the ‘missed-out’ and resurvey conducted in 2075 and 2076 BS.
As per the results, 17,106 reconstruction beneficiaries and 8,308 retrofitting beneficiaries have been added to the overall beneficiaries’ list.
The NRA Deputy Spokesperson Manohar Ghimire informed that remaining complaints will be analysed within mid-April and the results will be published.
Likewise, the Executive Committee made a decision to declare 359 retrofitting beneficiaries as reconstruction beneficiaries.
The NRA has asked the applicants to contact their respective local levels to know about their complaint redress.
The applicants who have been declared non-beneficiaries, can appeal, if they think that they are eligible to receive grant as a beneficiary.
